The short answer
If you run a faceless YouTube channel and want InVideo to generate the footage, the number that decides your bill is the price of one finished minute. We read InVideo’s pricing page and help center on 16 October 2026. A minute of Seedance 2.5 footage costs 294 to 1,152 credits, which is $4.41 to $34.56 on Plus depending on resolution and billing. Max costs exactly the same per credit as Plus at list price ($0.015 billed annually, $0.03 monthly), so Max buys more credits, seats and storage, not cheaper credits. If your videos are mostly stock footage with an AI voice, Fliki and Pictory cost less per minute: about $0.08 and $0.145 a minute on their entry plans billed monthly.
| Plan | Credits a month | Billed monthly | Billed annually | Per credit, monthly | Per credit, annual |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| InVideo Starter Our pick | 400 | $20 | $10 | $0.05 | $0.025 |
| InVideo Plus Our pick | 2,000 | $60 | $30 | $0.03 | $0.015 |
| InVideo Max Our pick | 5,000 | $150 (first period $135) | $75 | $0.03 | $0.015 |
| InVideo Max Our pick | 10,000 | $300 (first period $265) | $150 | $0.03 | $0.015 |
| InVideo Max Our pick | 15,000 | $450 (first period $373) | $225 | $0.03 | $0.015 |
Our pick means we earn a commission if you subscribe through our link. InVideo is our pick on this page. That does not change any score: InVideo scores 3.7 on our published rubric, below Fliki at 4.1 and above Pictory at 2.6. See InVideo plans.
What one minute of generated footage costs on InVideo
InVideo does not sell minutes. It sells credits, and its help center says video models are “priced per second”. Its compare table prices Seedance 2.5 in credits per 5 seconds, so a minute is that figure times 12. We checked the arithmetic against the page’s own counts: 2,000 Plus credits at about 56 credits per 5 seconds is the “35 videos” InVideo prints for 720p.
| Footage | Credits per 5 s | Credits per minute | Plus or Max, annual | Plus or Max, monthly | Minutes in Plus (2,000) | Minutes in Max (5,000) |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Seedance 2.5 Draft | about 24.5 | 294 | $4.41 | $8.82 | 6 min 48 s | 17 min 00 s |
| Seedance 2.5 720p | about 56 | 672 | $10.08 | $20.16 | 2 min 59 s | 7 min 26 s |
| Seedance 2.5 1080p | about 96 | 1,152 | $17.28 | $34.56 | 1 min 44 s | 4 min 20 s |
Other models cost differently. InVideo’s model price list gives each one as a range, from the cheapest setting at the shortest length to the dearest at the longest: Seedance 2.5 runs 6.10 to 1,962 credits a clip, Veo 3.1 32 to 192, and Kling 3.0 10.08 to 252. InVideo says all models are “available at their original API pricing”, and also that it may “update credit costs at any time, without prior notice”, so check the cost the app shows before you confirm a long job. Starter’s cheaper route, Seedance 2.0 Fast, is about 30 credits a video in InVideo’s calculator, but the page does not say how long that video is, so we do not turn it into a per-minute price.
The bill for a channel that publishes 40 minutes a month
Take a faceless channel that uploads four 10-minute videos a month: 40 finished minutes. Two ways to make them. Route one is stock footage, an AI voice and an editor. Route two generates 10 of the 40 minutes, a quarter of the runtime, which is also the share Fliki’s own calculator assumes for AI video.
| Tool | Stock footage + AI voice (40 min) | With 10 generated minutes | What the page bases it on |
|---|---|---|---|
| InVideo Our pick | from $20 a month ($10 annual) on Starter; agent credits per video are not published | Draft: $150 ($75 annual) on Max 5,000. 720p: $300 ($150). 1080p: $450 ($225) | 2,940, 6,720 or 11,520 credits of Seedance 2.5; Plus holds 2,000 |
| Pictory | $29 a month ($25 annual) on Starter, 200 video minutes included | $35 a month on Professional billed annually; billed monthly, Team at $199 | about 100 AI credits per minute of AI video; Professional annual gives 12,000 credits a year, monthly gives 500 |
| Fliki | $28 a month ($21 annual) on Standard: 20 of 180 credits | $88 a month ($66 annual) on Premium: 184 of 600 credits | calculator: 0.5 credits a minute stock, 4.6 with AI video clips and an avatar; AI clips are a Premium feature |
On route one the three land within $9 of each other at their entry plans, and InVideo’s Starter is the smallest subscription at $20. Spread over the allowance, Fliki Standard works out to about $0.08 a stock minute and Pictory Starter to $0.145, if you use every minute. On route two InVideo is the dearest by a wide margin: 10 minutes of Seedance 2.5 at Draft quality need 2,940 credits, more than Plus holds, so the plan becomes Max at $150 a month. What that buys is named frontier models at their list API price inside one editor; Fliki’s 4.6 credits a minute is about $0.67 a minute on Premium billed monthly.
Our pick for this channel: InVideo Plus billed annually at $30 a month if you generate a few minutes a month (6 min 48 s of Draft or 2 min 59 s of 720p fits in 2,000 credits) and do the rest in its free timeline editor. Try InVideo.
Max costs the same per credit as Plus
The Max card on InVideo’s page, from $75 a seat, carries “Lowest cost per credit” and the Starter and Plus cards say “Not included”. At the list prices we read, that does not show up in the arithmetic. Billed annually, Plus is $30 for 2,000 credits and Max is $75 for 5,000, $150 for 10,000 or $225 for 15,000: $0.015 a credit on every one. Billed monthly at list it is $0.03 on all four. The only per-credit gap is Max’s first-period monthly offer, $135 for 5,000 credits, about $0.027 a credit, before it “Renews at” $150. Starter is the dearest per credit, $0.05 monthly and $0.025 annual. What Max does add: up to 20 seats against 10, 20 free guest seats, 500 premium stock footage against 200, and 2,000 GB of storage against 600 GB.
What InVideo does not charge for, and what it does
- Free: manual timeline editing (“does not consume credits”) and exporting or downloading.
- Charged: AI assistance and AI media generation. Agent modes Lite, Pro and Ultra cost different amounts per generation.
- Default setting to change: the agent is set to “Always allow”, so it generates without asking. InVideo lets you require approval and set a credit limit per project.
- No rollover: “Unused credits don’t roll over to the next month.” Extra credits bought separately last up to 12 months, or until the subscription ends.
- Free plan: no card needed, “limited credits” with no number published, reset weekly on Monday at 12 a.m. UTC. The pricing page itself shows no Free card.

The three tools, one by one
InVideo Our pick
One editor with more than 200 image, video and audio models, priced per second at “original API pricing”, plus a free manual timeline. Starter ($20, $10 annual) is limited to Agent Two Lite and Seedance 2.0 Fast and Mini; Plus opens every Seedance model and the Pro and Ultra agents. Best fit when the channel’s look depends on generated footage from models such as Seedance, Veo and Kling, and you will watch the credit meter. See InVideo plans.
Pictory
Sold in video minutes: 200 a month on Starter ($29), 600 on Professional ($59). AI-generated video comes from a separate credit pool, about 100 credits a minute, and annual billing gives more of it: Professional annual includes 12,000 credits a year, twice the 500 a month of monthly billing. A 14-day free trial includes 15 video minutes with a 5-minute cap per video.
Fliki
Sold in credits, with a calculator on the pricing page that we operated: 0.5 credits a minute with stock or uploaded footage, 0.8 with AI-generated media, 3.1 with an AI avatar and 4.6 with AI video clips as well. Standard ($28, 180 credits) exports up to 15 minutes at 1080p; Premium ($88, 600 credits) adds AI video clips. The Premium card says videos up to 40 minutes while Fliki’s FAQ on the same page says 30. Free is 3 credits a month at 720p with a watermark.
How we checked
Every price on this page was read on 16 October 2026 in a rendered browser on the vendor’s own pricing page or help center, in both monthly and annual billing states. We operated InVideo’s Max credit selector and Fliki’s credit calculator rather than estimating from them. Per-minute and per-credit figures are our arithmetic on those list prices, and each one is checked against the vendor’s own counts where the page prints them. We did not buy a plan, did not render test videos and did not rate footage quality, so this is a price check, not a quality ranking. Anything a vendor did not publish, such as InVideo’s free-plan credits or its agent cost per finished video, is left out rather than estimated. For avatar-led videos, see AI avatar video cost per minute on HeyGen, Synthesia, Colossyan and D-ID; for clipping long videos into shorts, see OpusClip alternatives for a weekly 30-minute show.
Questions people ask about InVideo AI pricing
How does InVideo AI work?
You buy a monthly credit allowance per seat (400 on Starter, 2,000 on Plus, from 5,000 on Max). AI agents and generative models spend credits per generation; manual timeline editing and exports are free. Read 16 October 2026.
How much does a 1 minute AI video cost?
On InVideo, a minute of Seedance 2.5 footage is 294 credits at Draft and 1,152 at 1080p: $4.41 to $17.28 on Plus billed annually, double that billed monthly. Fliki’s calculator gives 4.6 credits a minute with AI clips and an avatar, about $0.67 on Premium.
Is there anything better than InVideo AI?
We did not test footage quality, so we do not rank them on it. On price, Fliki and Pictory cost less per minute for stock-footage videos; InVideo gives access to named models such as Seedance 2.5, Veo 3.1 and Kling 3.0 at their list API price.
Is there any 100% free AI video generator?
Not among these three. InVideo’s free plan has limited credits that reset weekly, Fliki Free gives 3 credits a month with a watermark, and Pictory offers a 14-day trial with 15 video minutes.
Do InVideo credits roll over?
No. InVideo says unused plan credits do not roll over to the next month. Extra credits bought separately last up to 12 months, or until the subscription ends.
Is InVideo Max cheaper per credit than Plus?
Not at list price. Both are $0.015 a credit billed annually and $0.03 billed monthly. Max’s first-period monthly offer is about $0.027 a credit on the 5,000 tier.
Does InVideo charge credits for exporting?
No. InVideo’s help center says exporting or downloading does not consume credits.
