AI Review Rating (“we”, “us”) is operated by Coworkers AI LLC, a limited liability company registered in the United States. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
If you only read the site
We collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested, referring page) and analytics data about which pages are viewed. We use this to understand what people find useful and to keep the site working.
If you create an account
We store the email address and username you provide, and a hashed password. We never store your password in readable form.
If you write a review
We store the review text, your rating, the tool it relates to, and the time it was submitted. Reviews are published publicly alongside your username. We may also record whether your email domain matches the vendor you are reviewing, so we can label reviews written by people connected to the product.
If you subscribe to the newsletter
We store your email address and the date you subscribed. Every email includes an unsubscribe link that works.
Affiliate links
Some outbound links to the tools we cover are affiliate links. If you sign up through one, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We record that a click happened, which link it was, and non-identifying context such as the referring page and an anonymised, truncated IP hash. We do not sell this data and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Affiliate relationships never affect our ratings. Our scoring methodology is published separately, and any listing whose position is affected by a commercial arrangement is labelled.
Cookies
We use cookies for three things: keeping you logged in, remembering tools you have saved when you are not logged in, and analytics. You can block cookies in your browser; the saved-tools feature will stop working, but the rest of the site will not.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share the minimum necessary with service providers who help us run the site: our hosting provider, our email delivery provider, and our analytics provider. Affiliate networks receive a referral identifier when you click an affiliate link, which is how commissions are attributed. They do not receive your name or email from us.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or export it. If you are in the EEA or UK you have these rights under the GDPR. If you are a California resident you have equivalent rights under the CCPA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information as that term is defined by the CCPA.
Deleting your account removes your profile and email address. Reviews you have written may remain published with the author shown as a deleted user, because removing them would misrepresent the ratings other people relied on. Tell us if you want a specific review removed and we will consider it.
Data retention
Account data is kept while your account exists. Raw affiliate click logs are pruned after 90 days and only aggregate counts are kept beyond that. Server logs are kept for 30 days.
Children
This site is not intended for anyone under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy materially we will update the date above and, for account holders, say so by email.
