Harvard University publishes a large share of its computer science and data science teaching openly, through Harvard Online and edX. The CS50 family is its best known series and is free to take, with a paid certificate option.
It is taught properly, with problem sets that make you implement the algorithms rather than call them, and it is the course to take if you want a real foundation rather than a tour.
